Pipo M9 Pro 3G Quad Core 10 inch GPS Tablet PC testing
PiPO M9 PRO is very good quality, the casing is made of quality plastic. On the other side of the tablet, the plastic is a little rougher. So that you could very easily hold it in your hands. Which of course is practically for end user. The screen is 10.1 inch big with 1920 x 1200 resolution. Also the speakers also located on the other side of tablet. And you have the impression that they are not loud enough. Or may not be of sufficient quality, something between i guess. All connectors are located on the upper side. Like HDMI Slot, sim card slot and of course the power on/off button.
Performance
With no problem, we can say that PiPO M9 PRO is a real beast of a tablets. Anyone would want such a device in Android World. Under the hood is Rockchip RK3188 Quad Core 1.6GHz processor with 2GB RAM. GPU is Mali 400 MP4. To be able to play games, watch HD movies and perform serious business. There is therefore 32GB ROM. Everything works quickly, smoothly and fluidly. Antutu X Benchmark gives 18947 points. Which is an excellent result for FHD Android tablet. The screen which is full hd is excellent, responsive and no outbreaks of light.
Software
PiPO M9 PRO comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with several applications installed. All apps that I have tried works quickly and fluidly. So far I have not encountered any problems. I also tried Prince of Persia Shadow and Flame and it worked great. Tablet was not rooted. If you want to flash a new firmware then you need to install specific application on PC. Download new firmware which can be time-consuming job. PiPO frequently publishes a new firmware and this is good for users. But the main problem is with download speed which is very low. So you must be patient in order to get a new firmware.
Connectivity
It has all possible options. 3G, GPS, Wifi, BT, HDMI. We are most interested in 3G. Because 3G does not have many tablets, especially cheaper ones. This is a big plus because where wifi is not available, you can use the 3G network. It uses a mini sim card. GPS also works well, within 20 seconds he found a sufficient number of satellites. We noticed that wifi is somewhat weaker. But do not worry you can still use wifi, it is weaker by about 15%.
